Sweet Boy

Here's a recent indoor shot. I love the sunlight shining on his face through the window.

But I'm looking forward to more photo shoots outside as the temperatures warm up! What is better than digging in the dirt for a little boy? :)

Here are some shots from our recent trip to California to visit my husband's family.

One of my favorite places to take candid shots is at the beach. These were taken at the ocean, but I love taking pictures on Lake Michigan’s lakefront.

Fryer Family

We lucked out with a beautiful Saturday in the fall, when the temps weren’t too freezing! We headed over to Lake Michigan and caught some beautiful clouds as the sun was setting.

The Evans Fam

I took these pictures on a VERY cold winter day. But this family was tough!! And amazingly the girls smiled and everything worked out great. I think my hands were numb by the end, and I was wearing gloves!

Baby Chase

Chase was five weeks old when I took these pictures. He is the most alert little guy for being so young!

I loved how his tongue curled when he cried :)

He’s also training early to be the next champion boxer :)

Updegraff Family

I love the color choices the Updegraffs chose for their portraits on the beach. The blues were so pretty with their skin and eyes. Simon was such a happy guy and did a great job during the photo shoot!
