Update

I'm sorry for the lack of blog updates this summer! I was busy getting my new logo and portfolio site together and it's finally online! Check it out! www.sarahseversonphotography.com. I'll revamp the blog in the next few weeks - I have lots of great sessions to post about from the summer, so I'll do that once I have the new format put together.

Chase and Spencer

I recently took pictures of these cute cousins. I photographed Chase when he was itty bitty - now he’s six months old and as cute as ever. Spencer is about 17 months old, with a few curls in his hair and a great personality with lot of energy! Chase is at that great older baby age where he smiles a lot and is very sweet. Spencer was also so sweet, but also very busy - I was running to keep up with him : )

I had a lot of fun with both families that morning. We took pictures at the rose garden, which is a really pretty area with a cool old fountain on one end, facing rows of vibrant roses and a large grassy area in the middle. Perfect for a young toddler to run around!

Cole and Elsa

I took pictures of these darling kids earlier this month. I think my favorite things were how sweet three-month-old Elsa was throughout the photo shoot, and how excited Cole was every time he saw a train or car or truck drive by. They are such cute kids. Look at the beautiful skin on this baby – she looked so pretty with her creamy skin and red ruffled dress.

We ran over to the beach toward the end and got a few quick pictures. The kids were ready to be done and it was steamy hot outside!

Sawyer’s Birth

I had the privilege of photographing the birth of baby Sawyer when he was born on April 23, 2010 at 1:05 a.m. Here are some of the photos from that night.

Sawyer is a beautiful baby – congrats Stacy and Matt! Thanks for the fabulous opportunity to photograph your son’s birth. It was wonderful. If you’d like to see more, here’s a video documenting more of the experience:

Lily & Abe – Engagement Photos

Last weekend I did an engagement photo shoot with Lily and Abe, who were such a cute couple!! They are so happy and in love that it was very easy to get good shots. We took pictures in the alley behind the house where Lily grew up since they wanted a more urban feel, and also on the Metra tracks at the Davis station.

After the photo shoot, I came home and gave my husband a big kiss. I think their happiness was contagious! :) Here’s a video with more pictures from the shoot:

Baby Jane at 6 Months

Remember beautiful 6-week-old Jane from a few months ago?

Now she’s 6 months old and as cute as can be :)
